Dawn and Fawn

This piece of “Dawn and Fawn” is an honor to the most tender-hearted person in my life—a second “mum” to me. It captures the warmth and the essentiality of being nurtured by her. It represents the comforting presence of her motherly arms through the soft human and nature embrace. It has a calming color, much like the look on her face, and speaks to the kindness and the peaceful sanctuary that she is. Just as dawn is an indication of a new beginning, so her guidance has been to me—a continuous rebirth of hope in my life. In many times, the fawn is considered a symbol of innocence and growth; it defines pure love and wisdom which she shared. In so many ways, this art is my homage to her, a visualization of that soft, firm, and selfless love which she has poured over me.
